Sandaime Kazekage, The Third Wind Shadow, is considered to be the most powerful Kazekage in the history of the Hidden Sand Village. He had a special ability which allowed him to convert his chakra into magnetic forces, and use iron to attack his opponents.
Despite being the Sand Village's strongest Kazekage, he was kidnapped during a war several years before the start of the Naruto series. Three years into the series, the Akatsuki member, and former Sand ninja, Sasori reveals to Sakura and Sand Village elder, Chiyo, that he had killed the Third Kazekage and turned him into a puppet.
