The First Hokage was the founder of the Hidden Leaf Village. He was brother to the Second Hokage, sensei to the Third Hokage, Homura Mitokado, and Koharu Utatane, and also the grandfather of Tsunade, who is currently the Fifth. He saw the people of the Leaf Village as a part of him, and put them before anything else. Orochimaru has resurrected him with a forbidden jutsu to fight against the Third Hokage. Using another forbidden technique, the Third Hokage sealed the First's soul in one of his shadow clones.
