Jirobo is part of the Sound Four. During the invasion of the Leaf Village, he served as one of the corner of the rectangular barrier that imprisoned Orochimaru and the Third Hokage inside. He later, along with the other Sound Four members under the order of Orochimaru, came to the Leaf Village to escort Sasuke to Orochimaru. They were soon, however, under the pursuit of the 5 Leaf Genins. Jirobo was left to fight with Choji. Although Jirobo was known for his impressive strength power, he was not able to defeat Choji who used up all three of his soldier pills. In the end, Jirobo was killed by Choji.
