Orochimaru was the bright student of the Third Hokage, and teammates of Jiraiya, and Tsunade. Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade are known as the Sannin - the Ninja of Legendary. A missing-ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village, Orochimaru's goal is to be the "the ultimate being" by achieving immortality and knowledge of all jutsu in the world. Orochimaru is a Kage-level ninja and love conflict and unrest.
His specialty is forbidden techniques and has the ability to defy death itself by transferring his mind to another body. Orochimaru's appearance borders on inhuman with very pale white skin, slitted eyes, and an extending, snake-like tongue. Orochimaru also has the unique ability to molt, repairing any damage to his body as easily as someone else repairs their clothes. Even some of the bravest ninja tremble upon seeing Orochimaru. They believe his is a monster in a human body.
Orochimaru's followers are often people in who have been ignored and suffered the pain of no love as they have no family or friends. They are always alone. By acknowledging them, Orochimaru filling the void in their life, causing those lonley people to become loyal to him for the rest of their life. On his most powerful subordinates, Orochimaru puts a cursed seal on them that corrodes their body and free will, in exchange for power. While all of Orochimaru's subordinates (with the exception of Sasuke) seem to admire and respect him, the reverse does not seem to be true. While on the outside Orochimaru may seem to care about his subordinates, he actually does not care about them all. He only cares for their ability to further his interests. The only ones he actually cares for are those he intends to use as a host, and this too is only because they can prolong his existence.
